Josh has decided to stay in Japan for at least another year, but is not sure the actual time frame, and our replacement Sean out of the blue decided to persue a recording career and left for AZ to go to school there. Since we can't find any devoted or compatible replacements, the band has made the decision to go on as a three piece indefinetly or if Josh stays back in the US for sure, we'll take him back. Although it's impossible to match our sound exactly we have done a great job filling in the hollow spots where Josh would be. Matt has taken on Josh's guitar parts where possible or has changed his chords for a fuller sound while keeping the original sound at heart. Bryan and David have taken up the background vocals and are doing a great job at harmonizing and giving extra strength to the songs.

Sorry for such a long delay on updates, we've really been busy with this cd. We have been spending weeks in the studio mixing down the songs to get them just the way we want them, and finally we have finished it up. We now just need to send it out to be mastured. We are really happy with the sound of this album, everything came out clean and our songs are the best we've made yet. One of the new songs is unbelievable it is a MUST HEAR, so make sure you get your hands on this album; we will be putting it for sale on our website so keep checking up to see when you can get it. We still need to agree on the cover art for the CD so once thats done it out for production. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Josh has taken another trip back to Japan and will be there untill December, so in the mean time we had our very close friend (and number one fan ) Sean be a temp. replacement for Josh. He has already played three shows with us and learned the songs quickly. There were problems with Ryan and the band so he will not be replacing Josh again. So everyone welcome Sean to A Future Loss.
Also we have been playing around on myspace, its pretty sweet. It gives us a chance to interact with our fans and screw around with each other. We finally found a good studio that cost cheap to record our cd at. It is at the Helmet Room recording studio and we are going to have it proffesionally mastered. (for those of you who don't know what im talking about, it makes the cd sound like what you hear from big bands) We start with recording on Saturday morning and have an 8 hour day and then continue on Sunday with another 8 hour day. FUN!! We probably won't finish this weekend but we'll be done with a good amount. The cd has what we think is our best new songs and Josh vocals and guitar will be on it. So stay tuned for more info.

Now that it's summer we finally have time to look for shows. We are also widening our range of places we want to play too. We are looking at bars and other small concert hall/clubs around Colorado and we have a few shows that were interested in at the Oriental Theatre and Herman's Hideaway. Also we were not to happy with the sound of our new cd, so we are going to go back and re-record the songs in an actuall good sounding studio, so sorry to thoughs five who bought our crappy cd but at least you get to hear our new songs first.

Hi how's everyone doing, first of all we would just like to thank everyone who came out to our show on Sun. April 3 and supported us. For those of you who didn't go we would like to tell you that we won the battle of the bands. Now we are going to the final battle of the bands which is in mid June. Sorry for the long wait but with the compilation CD there was a missunderstanding on where to ship it to, but we will have it hopfully today or tomorrow. Our New CD needed some re-recoding so it took a little longer to go back and finish up but it will be done shortly.

We just got news that the compilation we are going to be on is going to be released between March 4 and 8. It is call The Value of Reality Volume V. If you want to check out who else is going to be on the CD go to vivaldimedia.com. We have a link on our home page.

We are going to be featured on a compilation CD that will be coming out soon. It is with 22 other bands around the US and is going to be sold at stores, given to radio stations, and record companies. We don't know the exact date of the release but we will post it ASAP. We will be given copies of the CD to sell too, so you can always email us to get one. "Regrets" will be the song from us featured on the CD.

We are almost finished with our NEW CD. Yes we have been working on one that is part of the reason for the delay on updates to the site. Anyway it has 11 brand new songs that kick ass and should be out pretty soon. We have finally finished recording we are just waiting for John (our recorder) to finish editing, mixing, and mastering and it will be good to go. The Cd was being recorded while Josh was in Japan, so Ryan gets to show his stuff on this Cd. Come back for more updates on the CD.

Josh is back from Japan! After going out to see his Ming-Ming he has finally come back to play in the band. Ryan will still be around to fill the spot when ever we need an extra guitarist.
